It feels like life has settled down...somewhat! I looked back on our Google calendar to see what we've done since the last post and it doesn't seem like a whole lot, at least not compared to previous months with holidays, baptisms, trips to Pittsburgh, etc.
Next week (Sun.-Tues.) I'm going away on my first work trip. I am extremely nervous. 1) I'm terrified of flying, 2) I'm not looking forward to having to pump at the airports and hotels, 3) I'm worried they won't let me fly back with my milk, and 4) I'm really concerned about Mike having to take care of Elaine all by himself. On the plus side, it will sort of be a mini-vacation for me, albeit a lonely one. Still, I get to put meals on the company card.

| March TOT -(I love Elizabeth's face - she's in plaid) |
We have been doing our weekly Metanoia meetings and monthly Theology on Tap (TOT). We're going to be getting more involved with the group - Mike is actually running for President. We also had a few Villanova friends visit and threw a basketball party to watch Villanova (lose).
Elaine is an absolute delight. She smiles and giggles SO much. Today I spent around 20-30 minutes on the floor watching her turn onto one side and grab her feet, then the other side and reach for her pacifier. On her tummy she gets her little booty up and legs going, but doesn't roll over very often (even though she can). She's still very talkative, but I haven't noticed her repeating any consonants. Today she started razzing for the first time. I set up her booster seat so we can start getting her used to it. We'll probably start solid foods within the next month or two - she isn't quite sitting by herself, though she can lean forward and prop herself on her arms.
I think I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves...

She's so strong now, she pulled down her gym (and was quite delighted about it) |

| Tummy time is going really well |

She rolls from front to back like a BOSS (that's an expression that Mike likes) |

| She is such a pleasure in the mornings! |

This week she was in the excersaucer for the first time at daycare and at the Collier's. |

| She found her feet! |

Playing with cousin Mark. I would have sworn they were both going to roll over that day. |

Mike made fish and (homemade) potato chips for the basketball party. |

This God - His way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him. 2 Samuel 22:31
She doesn't take a bad picture, does she?! I suppose if WE all had smiles on OUR faces all the time,we'd photograph well, too...Wonderful, wonderful!!
