I'm beginning this post after 11 hours of (mildly interrupted) glorious sleep. And it was Mike's day to sleep in, too! I passed out on the floor playing with Elaine at eight o'clock. I think I could move a mountain right now (i.e. that mountain of laundry in the corner).
Another month has passed. Our little princess is phasing into a playing machine. Here's where she's at:
| Sitting unassisted |
Eating cereal (rice and oatmeal). Loves it. |
- Rotating on her belly
- She creeps forward (we're talking an inch or two) on her tummy to get to toys
- Still babbling
- Seems to react to the sign for milk (they only thing I sign to her)
- Grabs glasses off our faces
- Tries to pick up small objects (no matter how much we vacuum, there is magically always chunks of something on the floor)
- Sleeps in her own room now - an easy transition for her, but not for me!! The first night I made it to her first feeding, then I kept her in bed and snuggled her the rest of the night.
She's interested in all big people food we eat. |
| Out for a walk on a sunny day. |
| Enjoying beautiful weather. |
| Her first taste of grass. |

| After her six month shots. |
| She helps Grandmom shop. |
She still gives us that priceless smile all the time. |
Most of her 7mo. photos were out of focus (not enough light). |
| Such a lady. |
I'll have to do a separate update on Mike and me. It's already 11:00AM and I have so much to do!
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
WOW She is looking so much older. No more baby face. I love all these pictures! I especially love seeing her in that big chair. What a cutie. I have some extra rice/oatmeal cereal for you guys when you come. LOVE YOU
